Real life

How prepared are you to live life....real life?

It's a simple question really, but the most important one you will ever answer on planet earth. The answer to that question affects everything I do not only as a professional artist, but in all of life. What exactly did my dad mean when he instructed us kids with "If you are not prepared to die, then neither are you prepared to live."?

Every person born on earth will one day leave their earthly body behind, with 100% certainty. But what about the years of life and living in the meantime? You were created by God as an eternal being. Your body will die, but your spirit, the real you, will live for eternity. Do you know where you will live for eternity? It will either be in the presence of Creator God or separated from Him in a place you do not wish to be and that was never designed for human beings.

We were born into a world of sin, like it or not, it's a simple fact we all know. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is life, real life. God loves you so much that He gave the gift of his only Son as payment for yours and my sin. It's a free gift, the greatest you will ever receive, but receiving isn't automatic. You must accept it.

So what did my dad mean? Just this: when the question of our eternity is settled, we are then prepared and therefore free to live real life. The peace of God that enters in, when that decision is made, is a gift the world cannot give. Pray this with me: "Heavenly Father, I want to get my life right with You. I am sorry for my sin, and I accept Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you for the gift of life- real life. Amen."

That's all it takes. If you prayed that sincerely, and meant it in your heart, the angels in Heaven are rejoicing. Your name has been written in the Lamb's Book Of Life. If you wish to share your decision with us on the contact form below, we'll rejoice with you! Begin reading the Bible in the Gospel of John, it's free online. Find a Bible believing church to attend, that you may grow in your faith.... and may God bless you!

One of my dad's most memorable instructions was "If you are not prepared to die, then neither are you prepared to live."

I've accepted Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior- I want to live real life!
